The National School Walkout is calling for a moment of silence at 2:00 pm Eastern in solidarity with the victims at Sant Fe High School. Please spread the word. Our hearts are with #SantaFe.
Devastated beyond words. Our hearts and minds are with every single student, teacher, and family at Santa Fe High School. Congress can stop this. We will keep fighting for our futures and our lives.
Hundreds of students gathered this morning on the EMU Green for 17 minutes of silence in support of stricter gun control laws. Similar walkouts occurred at schools and universities across the nation on the one-month anniversary of the Parkland school massacre.
