Today, ENSTAR provided an update to the Regulatory Commission of Alaska, explaining the early phases of a project to import LNG and serve unmet gas supply needs for utilities along the Railbelt. Through this project, we’re working to create a natural gas receiving terminal on the Kenai Peninsula with Glenfarne Energy Transition, a leading global developer, owner, operator, and industrial manager of energy infrastructure assets.
Project highlights from ENSTAR’s presentation include:
✔️Reliable natural gas for heating and power generation along the Railbelt.
✔️Efficient use of an existing, permitted project site.
✔️Scalable design to support future energy resource development.
