What is Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS)? ENS is a devastating disease caused by any surgical insult to the nasal turbinates. ENS has a spectrum of symptoms which ranges from paradoxical obstruction, sense of suffocation, dryness, burning, openness, and crusting. (1/?)
@kearney_melissa that ophthalmologist did surgery on otherwise completely healthy eyes. He/she will claim high “success” rates to pts because “success” is something they define by gaming variables on studies. Your previously healthy corneas can be fried but you can see 20/20 so it’s a “success”
@hstupak1 Professionals that prey on insecurities. We’re all animals at the end of the day and the apex predator (the “professional”) will engage in evolutionary instinct to gain resources ($) for him/herself. Disguising it as “helping” others is deception. Better to be honest than lie
Pt of Dr. Senior by the name of prof Dr. Aneil Mishra who underwent implant surgery w/ him along with other tx such as Evoxac committed suicide last year in August 2024 due to ENS (primary in 1999). No one is buying the psychological factor to offset the chance of malpractice lit
Post-op CT of a surgery done by an @AAOHNS board certified ENT done in October of 2024.
Seen by Dr. Citardi @TexasRhinology less than 2 months ago-> +cotton test w/ recommendation for implant/reconstruction. He also saw pre-op scan and wondered why any of this was done.
@MakaryENT@JohnCraigNose@Triological No one is buying its rare, most if not all ENTs don’t diagnose cases from their own turbinate procedures due to potential malpractice litigation in the case they do hence underreported. Also conflating Dr. Senior’s case w/ an ENS article makes zero sense, pt had virgin turbinates
The current healthcare system is an ultimate “Tragedy of the Commons.” Most can’t see this yet, but insiders can if they are paying attention. Why? Hidden incentive and the deception of benevolence.
The system is incentivized to grow, and to forever be building tiny lies about health for profit, that don’t kill but yield more profit and growth. At first this would a no big deal, as it just increases cost a little. But eventually, everyone just adds a little to the life lie that the doctor or hospital makes one healthy. It’s just not true: sleep, exercise and diet do and have a monopoly on health. But it doesn’t take long to see that a little lie becomes bigger and bigger until everyone believes the lie becomes that shots and pills and surgeries give health and no one bothers avoiding substances or moving. Finally, the entire GDP will be used for healthcare, as few workers will be productive but will need the healthcare benefits. At some point, unless it breaks open, there will be few left to work besides those searching for healthcare growth, as all will simply be victims, and there will be nothing left, like the dystopian Covid fear world, where ignorance will be so prevalent, that not a soul will even realize that there is nothing anywhere but lies and ignorance. People need to get back to worrying only about themselves and their families health and not worrying about the falsely incentivized global movements that are designed to harm the world and help only the globalist cartel. I think it is not too late, but will take the individual to develop introspection, and to put the current healthcare model out of business, building one that does not incentivize false hopes, sedentarism and poor health “fixed” for profit. It can be done. Watch this video and you’ll see an honest surgeon. It holds true for every specialty beyond acute trauma or hydration etc.
@KonLontos @ChrisAlvino There’s a good reason why many refractive ophthalmologists offer same day as consult surgery 😞…mind you it’s labeled cosmetic, on healthy eyes, your most important sense.
