We have noticed footprints of foreign jihadists across our borders; however, I'd like to assure us [Nigerians] that the Nigerian army is on the alert and equal to the task.

IPOB Russia Chapter Reaffirms Loyalty to Directorate of State, Rejects Decisions Linked to Nnamdi Kanu
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a prominent non-violent self-determination movement, has received a strong show of support from its Russian chapter amid ongoing internal leadership transitions.
In a public memo dated July 6, 2026, Mazi Raphel Ndikom, National Coordinator of IPOB in the Russian Federation, declared unwavering loyalty to the movement’s Directorate of State (DOS), led by Mazi Chika Edoziem (HDOS). The statement, issued on behalf of principal officers and all IPOB members in Russia, underscores a firm commitment to the current leadership structure.
“We hereby, once more affirm our loyalty and give our undivided support to the Leadership of IPOB: The Directorate of State: DOS, led by MAZI CHIKA EDOZIEM HDOS,” Ndikom wrote.
The memo explicitly rejects any declarations or appointments emerging from Sokoto Correctional Centre, where Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is reportedly held. It also endorses the suspension of the office of the “Supreme Leader” and Director of Radio Biafra, positions associated with Kanu.
The Russian chapter voiced full backing for the DOS’s ongoing “institutionalisation” of IPOB, describing it as a necessary step toward greater efficiency, well-defined policies, strategic planning, and accountability within the organization.
The statement concludes with a resolute declaration of purpose: “We are out to Restore Biafra. So, Help Us CHUKWU OKEKE ABIAMA/GOD.”
The endorsement from the IPOB Russia chapter highlights growing international diaspora support for a more structured, institutional approach to the self-determination struggle, moving away from centralized “Supreme Leader” authority toward collective leadership under the Directorate of State.
This memo arrives as IPOB continues its non-violent advocacy for a sovereign Biafra, with diaspora branches playing increasingly visible roles in fundraising, awareness campaigns, and diplomatic outreach.

THE DEADLIEST WEAPON OF WAR WAS NOT THE GUN—IT WAS PROPAGANDA
From Okokon Ndem to the Digital Age: Why Ndigbo Must Never Again Become Victims of Manufactured Narratives
History is an uncompromising teacher. Whenever truth is sacrificed on the altar of propaganda, generations inevitably pay the price. The greatest tragedy is not merely that history repeats itself, but that mankind often refuses to learn from its most painful lessons.
For every Igbo family that witnessed or inherited the painful memories of the Nigerian Civil War (1967–1970), one name remains inseparable from the history of that conflict—Okokon Ndem, the unforgettable voice of Radio Biafra. Gifted with remarkable eloquence and extraordinary oratory, his broadcasts became the heartbeat of Biafra’s wartime information campaign. Through emotionally charged commentaries and psychological messaging, he inspired millions and projected unwavering confidence in the Biafran cause. Yet, like virtually every wartime broadcaster in history, his broadcasts also demonstrated the immense power of propaganda and disinformation in shaping public perception during armed conflict.
Wars are fought not only with bullets, but also with narratives. Temporary emotional victories achieved through propaganda can never substitute for objective reality. History repeatedly reminds us that when comforting falsehoods replace uncomfortable truths, the human cost is often devastating.
Sadly, decades after the guns fell silent, one cannot ignore the disturbing similarities in portions of today’s self-determination discourse. Social media has given every individual a microphone, but it has also given falsehood an unprecedented audience. Individuals with little knowledge of strategy or leadership routinely manufacture sensational claims, imaginary victories and unverifiable narratives, while vulnerable people consume them without critical examination.
The tragedy is not simply that lies are told; it is that they are believed.
Thousands of lives have been lost, communities traumatized, businesses destroyed and economic activities crippled because many chose emotion over reason and propaganda over truth. Yet, despite these undeniable realities, there are still professional propagandists and their loyal apologists who continue to market deception as patriotism.
No cause, however noble or divinely inspired, can succeed if it is built upon manipulation and misinformation. Truth is not an obstacle to any genuine struggle; it is its strongest foundation.
It is therefore encouraging that recent developments, which have brought about a change in the status quo and a renewed direction under the leadership of the Directorate of State (DOS), led by Mazi Chika Edoziem, have completely departed from the hitherto prevailing pattern of misinformation, propaganda and deception. The current leadership has placed greater emphasis on discipline, strategic coordination, responsible leadership and the pursuit of non-violent mechanisms of agitation, thereby restoring confidence in a cause that must always be anchored on truth rather than manipulation.
If the aspiration for self-determination is genuinely rooted in justice, equity and the collective welfare of our people, then transparency, honesty and accountability must remain non-negotiable guiding principles. This is particularly so because the right to self-determination is an inalienable and sacrosanct right, firmly recognised and protected under applicable international law as well as the extant domestic legal framework.
This is the defining moment for Ndigbo to rise above raw emotions, empty slogans and destructive rhetoric; to reject every narrative that glorifies bloodshed, division and needless sacrifice; and to wholeheartedly embrace a peaceful, disciplined and people-centred approach anchored on the prevailing human-faced vision of the project. The future of our people will be secured not through the celebration of conflict, but through wisdom, strategic leadership, truth and an unwavering commitment to the preservation of human life and dignity.
The most devastating consequence of propaganda is not merely the distortion of facts, it is the gradual destruction of independent judgment. Once a people lose the ability to distinguish truth from carefully manufactured falsehoods, they surrender the very instrument required for their progress.
History should not become a cycle we repeatedly relive. The painful lessons of the Civil War should inspire wisdom, not repetition. Our future will never be secured by the loudest voices on social media, but by leaders and followers who possess the courage to confront reality, the humility to learn from history and the integrity to speak the truth, even when it is inconvenient.
Only then can we honour the sacrifices of yesterday while safeguarding the destiny of tomorrow.

BREAKING: Catalan Government Invites IPOB to National Day Celebrations and Liaison Office Inauguration in Barcelona
The Government of Catalonia has extended an official invitation to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), marking a significant moment in the growing international solidarity between Catalan and Biafran self-determination movements.
According to a statement issued by Mazi Austin Agbanyim, IPOB European Representative, the invitation includes participation in two key events scheduled for September 2026 in Barcelona.
Event 1: Catalonia National Day (La Diada)
Date: Friday, 11th September 2026
Venue: Barcelona, Spain
Event 2: IPOB Liaison Office Inauguration
Date: Saturday, 12th September 2026
Venue: Barcelona, Spain
-(Official time and specific address to be communicated shortly)
The announcement urges all IPOB members, leaders, and stakeholders to begin preparations for what is described as "historic events."
Catalonia’s National Day, known as La Diada, commemorates the fall of Barcelona during the War of the Spanish Succession in 1714 and serves as a major annual expression of Catalan identity and aspirations for greater autonomy or independence. IPOB has previously participated in or expressed solidarity with these celebrations, viewing them as aligned with their own campaign for Biafran self-determination.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), currently led by DOS under Chika Edoziem, is a movement advocating for the independence of the Republic of Biafra. IPOB maintains a huge diaspora presence in Europe and has been active in building international alliances.
The planned inauguration of an IPOB Liaison Office in Barcelona is expected to strengthen the movement’s organizational footprint in Europe and facilitate closer coordination with sympathetic regional governments and movements.
This invitation highlights growing transnational links between various European and Biafran self-determination causes. While details remain limited at this stage, the events are anticipated to draw significant participation from the global Biafran community. Further information on exact timings, protocols, and guest lists is expected in the coming weeks.
IPOB members have been encouraged to coordinate through their regional structures for travel and logistical arrangements.
Issued by Mazi Austin Agbanyim, IPOB European Representative.

WORDS ON THE MARBLE
“The oracle occupies no domain by divine entitlement alone; it dwells where men have chosen to place it. The hand that established its sanctuary may relocate it, enlarge its influence, or withdraw its honour altogether. Fidelity to purpose preserves its relevance, but failure invites neglect; and that which ceases to serve the living is often consigned to the silence of forgotten history.”

I Hope You Can Now Focus On Biafra Restoration And Allow The old DOS concentrate And work out with their own strategy . My Only Problem with Some Of These people making noise on social media Is That, They Don’t Believe In Themselves.
They Make the Announcements Yet They Won’t Believe In their own Announcement. I advice you to focus .
I am strongly believer in Mazi Chika Edoziem and the old DOS members with Old grassroot IPOB members and coordinators home and abroad. For us the struggle for Biafra continues .
DOS ARE WISE
GOD BLESS BIAFRA
INTRODUCING TO YOU KANU’s BRAND 100 MINIONS DOS
Nobody knows the Chris Nwogu in USA , the zoo his handlers have given him another Ekperima to take off the struggle , IPOB family members said they don’t know him and have not seen him before neither is he an IPOB Member.
This man does not represent IPOB. He's not even an IPOB member to start with and we challenge him to dispute us. They have packaged him in an empty room to utter rubbish.
Once you see the Zoo media like @DailyPostNGR promoting things of this nature, know it that such entity is working in their favour.
They did it for Simon Ekpa. The Zoo media was first to announce Ekpa as IPOB's leader. Throughout Ekpa's evil reign, @DailyPostNGR was used to promote him.
They are back again, but they are welcome. Let them bring it on. That's why we are here.
IPOB Homeland Leadership Issues Powerful Memo: “IPOB is an Institution Controlled by Leaders, Not Individuals”
https://t.co/EopwpvAFlT
In a bold, and uncompromising stand, the Homeland Leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has released a powerful memo that completely crushes the “laughable junk” and desperate propaganda being spread by "Nigerian government agents", including the fake “Dissolution of DOS” circulating on Igbere TV.
It issues a stern warning to all: anyone attempting to impose leaders on IPOB or unilaterally dismiss others is acting as an enemy of the struggle. The movement has clearly outgrown the era where individuals sitting in comfort zones can arbitrarily appoint or remove leaders at will.
What the Nigerian government wants to try in IPOB is the same strategy they have used to destabilise opposition parties in Nigeria. They plant stooges, use them to control and dismantle opposition parties from within.
They used this tactic to frustrate Peter Obi and the Labour Party (LP), deployed Wike to dismantle PDP, and are currently infiltrating the NDC, the new Peter Obi party. Now they want to apply the same strategy to dismantle IPOB.
Go and tell them that they are dealing with IPOB a movement backed by multiple international advisory experts.
They are playing nursery school games. We are far ahead of them. Thank God we already understand their plan to use Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for this dirty agenda.
IPOB is not PDP, LP, or any other Nigerian political party. Before you even make a move, we already know where you are coming from and where you are heading to.
Barrister Aloy Jimakor @AloyEjimakor is not a member of IPOB. He stops issuing memo purportedly from IPOB leadership.
His account, henceforth, will be reported for misrepresentation.
