@TWilsonOttawa 13180 rounds fired !!!
Not a single problem.
Huge majority have never fired a gun of any kind.
Yet lawfully owned guns are a problem?
We praise our volunteers for making sure everyone was safe.
@Jeroen0001@MVWphoto@TWilsonOttawa EOSC is on the edge of 18000 acres of public access forest. We have no staff and no hydro = no security. We have ~2700 members. That's 5400 guns to store IF everyone owned just 1. No one owns just 1.
National Range Day yesterday was a great success. We had around 500 visitors, many were families, and our children's range saw crowds all day.
We fired about 7000 rounds of ammunition, every round fired safely.
People from all walks of life.
Special thanks to our volunteers.
As I moved around the event, I spoke to many people. Nothing but enjoyment expressed by guests.
Quite a few asked how to get a firearm license.
Many made a point to thank us for hosting such a great event, saying they weren't sure what to expect, and impressed with the safety.
National Range Day @ EOSC was a major success thanks to the most incredible team of volunteers ever!! Over 500 new shooters of every age, colour and background came out to enjoy the shooting sports on a beautiful sunny day in Ottawa 🇨🇦❤️🎯

@TWilsonOttawa I attended my first national range day and shot my first rifle, shot gun and hand gun. Hand gun was my favourite but I want to become better with the shot gun. Shout out to the vortex crew who were amazing and so patient with me.
Join us June 7th for National Range Day.

A family event. Kids welcome.
Welcome to around 120 new members over the last 2 mths.
Despite everything happening with bans, Canadians like their guns and many more are getting their licenses for the first time.
@TWilsonOttawa All walks of life.
All had their own reasons to try shooting for the first time.
All left excited and smiling.
All loved what the libs call assault weapons. By far the most popular.
Underway now.
80 women have joined us for EOSC/CCFR Ladie's Day. Nothing but smiles..
@Polysesouvient will never convince us Canadians want guns banned.
Pictures later.
@TWilsonOttawa Four more sleeps.
We've had ladies of every age, ethnicity, and all with their own reason to attend.
No one leaves without a smile.
An 83 year old lady just wanted to give it a try. We couldn't get the ar15 out of grasp afterward. (When we were allowed to use them).
Tickets still available for our Ladie's Day October 5th, in conjunction with CCFR.
A fun and inexpensive way to try various firearms.
No license or experience required. One on one, mentors guide you through the fun.
