Happy Mother’s Day.
Today, I celebrate mothers, women, strength, love, sacrifice, and the powerful role women play in shaping families, communities, and nations.

This day is also deeply personal for me. It has now been 3 years since my mum passed away, and not a day goes by without me remembering her love, strength, guidance, and the values she gave me. She continues to inspire me through the work I do and the life I strive to live.

On this special day, I honour my mother’s memory, and I also celebrate all women and mothers whose love, resilience, and impact continue to shape the world in beautiful and lasting ways. May Allah SWT grant my beloved mother Jannatul Firdaus, forgive her shortcomings, and keep her soul in eternal peace. Ameen.

And for those of you outside the UK, yes, today is Mother’s Day here in the UK.
