The clowns who demand that you "improve velocity" are the same people who are preventing that from happening. You need to make cultural and system-wide-process improvements. That's a management problem. The teams are often helpless, and putting that on the teams is just abuse.

@Markidding @GDMBrian I think the argument that Jess Eddy/the post she shared is making is that the 8 hour work day is a relic. As more business leaders shed the "we have to do things this way because we've always done them this way" mentality, flexibility in hours & location will become the norm.
