We started the day with a cosy story, hot chocolate and biscuits and then had a book swap! 🥰 hope you enjoyed your new bedtime stories tonight year 1! 📚
All children who had attendance of over 97% this term were placed into a raffle to win a pair of @LincolnCity_FC tickets! We also gave a away a set of tickets for most improved attendance! Well done all of you! Enjoy the match! ⚽️
One of our wonderful year 1 pupils asked if she could read a book from home to her friends… how could I say no?! 🥹 She read it beautifully and made sure her friends could see the pictures the whole time! 🥰

Thank to Reverend Rachel who came into school to tell us all about the meaning of Christingle. All children in school will now have the opportunity to make their own this week. She also gave out the prizes for the colouring collection! Well done everyone who entered!
This term year 1 have been learning all about why bonfire night is celebrated and also how to stay safe. On Friday it was lovely to end our topic with hotdogs, hot chocolate and some fireworks in the hall! 🎇 🌭
What a fabulous day celebrating the #KingCharlesCoronation! 👑
Class 1 & 2 were very proud of their king scarecrow, inspired by the book ‘The King’s Pants’ by Nicholas Allan. 🥰

Week 3 creations in Monday's Lego club with Miss Thompson - the children are thoroughly enjoying themselves. Lots of creativity and imagination being used. As you can see, they have made dogs, pizzas, cars and houses. @EPA_Year1#welovelego#becreative
This super star is taking making his junk model dragon very seriously. He has his design stuck to the wall and is talking through every step to make sure it is the same as his picture! Well done - we are very proud of how it is turning out. #eggboxdragon@ErminePrimary
This week the reading fairies delivered us a new book! Class 1 wrote some lovely letters to them to say thank you… 🧚🏼♀️ some children even gave some suggestions to the reading fairies to say what kind of book they would like next! 🤭🥰 @ErminePrimary#readingforpleasure
