Two years ago today, on 18 December 2023, Engineering Professor Khaled Al-Ramlawi (41) was killed by Israel in Gaza.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health at least 317 other Palestinians were killed in Gaza on that same day.
Dr. Khaled Al-Ramlawi
The martyr Dr. Khaled Al-Ramlawi, from the city of Gaza, was one of its brightest minds. He graduated from the College of Engineering in Izmir last year, and there were several opportunities awaiting him there, but he chose to return to Gaza.
He had another opportunity to obtain Turkish citizenship if he stayed for an additional year, but he decided to return to his university and students in Gaza, and before that, to the embrace of his mother and father. He always spoke lovingly about them and cherished them. He used to say with a joyful voice that all the jobs and nationalities in the world are not worth a single night spent with them.
Israel killed his parents, siblings, and several of his children, and fate spared him from the initial bombing to leave behind the people he loved the most.
On December 18, 2023,Israel killed him again with burning American bombs in the shelter he sought refuge in.
Today is our 5th Birthday!

One year ago today, on 16 April 2024, football coach Yousef Al-Heela (30) was killed by Israel in Gaza
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health at least 55 other Palestinians were killed in Gaza on that same day.
“Israel has been committed to murdering our passion”
My name is Yousef Al-Heela and I am a football coach and technical assistant director from Gaza, known for my ambition, punctuality, and dedication to the sports industry.
I grew my expertise through experiences like participating in the Real Madrid camp and organizing recreational activities during the war, always striving to achieve my dream of becoming a global coach.
On April 16, 2024, three days before my planned trip to Egypt, I was riding my bicycle when the Israeli occupation bombed the street, and their brutal attack took my life.
The first of two concerts of Indigneous baroque is shortly to start in the province of Jujuy, Argentina, repetoire chosen and curated by our director Rafael Montero, who joins local singers and players.
It's exactly 2 months today till our next concert, in the charming Kent town of Faversham to share our programme of Indigenous baroque music from Peru and Bolivia.
Sunday May 11th, 2025, St Mary of Charity, 4.00 pm.
