@EPIB_Berlin
Our vision is that all children of Bihar have equal access to inclusive, equitable and high-quality schools. Non-governmental think tank based in Berlin.
We are happy to launch our "Atlas of ICT access for government school students in India" which is visualizing household-level access to TVs, smartphones and simple mobile phones.
We thank the @asercentre for providing access to ASER 2018 raw data.

#Bihar can do this. Together we can ensure that no child is left behind. Together we can ensure that every child in #Bihar receives a decent education.

Important points by the honourable HC:
“procure and prepare digital lectures for students of all classes; install community-level television sets and distribute radio sets and ensure the increase of reach of remote learning platforms”

And also recognizes the limited access of government school students when it comes to internet and TV-based educational programs: https://t.co/kP0NQJ8m0K
On the #NEP's literacy and numeracy mission: "#Bihar has in the past had a similar mission, Mission Gunvatta. It is worth studying in detail what went well and what needs improvement in order for the new, national mission to become a success."

We had called for an in-kind provision of midday meals for long and welcome this step by the government.
E.g. see our post from April on this: https://t.co/clIIzDB1dh
Bihar Education Department instructs senior district education officers to provide 8 kg ration and Rs 358 to children studying in Class 1-5 and 12 kg ration and Rs 536 to students of Class 6-8 under Midday Meal Scheme for May, June and July 2020.
'@BiharCenter के @MartinHaus93 और @Abhishek_JNU ने नीचे लिंक में दिये आलेख में #कोविड_19 के कारण संकटग्रस्त स्कूली शिक्षा और व्याप्त शैक्षणिक विषमता में आई अप्रत्याशित वृद्धि के बारे में लिखा है:

Only 37% of government school students in Bihar have access to a📺 or a 📱(smartphone). In Kerala, the number is 96%.
This calls for a differentiated rather than a uniform strategy across States.
