Talking about pain this morning
1. Pain is often associated with stigma “drug seeking”
2. Treating pain should be multi-modal and that doesn’t mean just drugs
3. Pain crises takes way more medication than maintaining pain control
4. Pain is about the patient - not the provider
First question of the day - “I hope this isn’t stupid but...”
15 minutes later the group chat answered the question and touched in about 11 other points.
