Investments in our nation’s infrastructure keep America building, growing, and on the move.

Join us as we celebrate American infrastructure and the dedicated individuals who keep our roads, bridges, and public networks running and powering our nation’s growth.

Great to attend the @United4Infra reception hosted by the @USChamber and @ShopFloorNAM during Infrastructure Week.
As Chair of the @EPWGOP, we are constantly working towards strong, bipartisan legislation that will boost American competitiveness and advance key infrastructure programs.
Honored to receive the @NUCA_National We Dig America Award this morning. I’m very grateful for the work @NUCA_National does to improve infrastructure of all types, and for their advocacy in Washington and beyond to ensure that our policies help America build faster.
As Chair of the @EPWGOP Committee, modernizing the federal programs that govern the construction and maintenance of our nation’s infrastructure is a top priority, and I am proud of the bills we are actively developing to advance that goal.
Chairman @SenCapito congratulates Doug Weaver on his confirmation for a full five-year term on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Commissioner Weaver’s continued work at @NRCgov will help move American nuclear energy into the future. The Chairman appreciates Commissioner Weaver’s service and looks forward to his efforts during his term as Commissioner.
Chairman @SenCapito: I applaud the Trump @EPA’s latest proposal to delay compliance deadlines for Biden-era vehicle emissions standards, which mandated a shift toward electric vehicles that Americans don’t want to buy. I appreciate @EPALeeZeldin and the Trump Administration’s sustained efforts to defend consumer choice and reduce costs for Americans.
Chairman @SenCapito was pleased to hear about the @EPA’s new proposed rule to revise ELGs for steam electric power plants. The Biden EPA’s 2024 ELG Rule, which was a part of the Biden EPA’s EGU strategy, aimed to eliminate coal from our nation’s energy mix by imposing unreasonable and unachievable restrictions on coal plants.
Chairman Capito spoke with @EPALeeZeldin yesterday during an @AppropsGOP hearing about this burdensome rule and is grateful to see the EPA take action to lower electricity costs and support reliable baseload power.
My ADVANCE Act significantly reduces regulatory costs—creating a more streamlined path to clean, reliable nuclear power.
A huge thank you to @NRCgov Chairman Nieh for implementing the core of the legislation within the commission. Great to hear how it has already increased efficiency and improved culture at the @NRCgov, and I look forward to seeing more positive results.

$1.2 trillion of investment is on the sidelines due to broken federal permitting processes. These are transformational economic benefits that Americans are missing out on.
I’m grateful to @SecretaryBurgum and the rest of the Trump administration for their support as we work to get meaningful permitting reforms passed through Congress and signed into law.
As the only member of @EPWGOP who represents a Great Lakes state, it was my honor to introduce two Ohioans to the committee and speak about how we can continue to support and protect the lakes.
