Aspiring children’s book and young adult author and illustrator. I’m writing, drawing, baking, cooking. Bring a little joy into someone else’s life today.
Last week all of my seedlings had some rotting issue and I had to ditch all three trays. I replanted and already two of my tomato varieties are sprouting and so are the poblano peppers.
I know it’s been a while… I’ve been writing and working on queries. But a little taste of what I’ve been doing in my spare time… I’ll share more soon. Wishing everyone the best.
I’m seeing a lot of publications and online magazines/ journals that have open calls are warning writers who submit with the help of AI that they’ll be barred from submitting again in the future. I was unaware that so many “authors” were using AI to “produce” a story.
The hardest part of writing isn’t coming up with the story, it’s not even writing the story. It’s editing the story, re-editing the story, the re-editing the story again and again and again. #WritingCommunity#AuthorsOfTwitter

Been busy finishing up a few big projects and writing short stories nonstop. So, I’ve decided to create my own substack. First short story coming out tomorrow.
Sorry for the absence.

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been able to make her a nice dinner. But, here’s a traditional Cherokee Casserole and Cherokee Fry Bread. I forgot to make grape dumplings. So, we had a few bottles of wine instead. #NativeAmerican#NativeAmerican#Cherokee#cookingformom#Foodie
