She Demanded N1.5m from a man For S+x and agreed to s+x without a c%ndom — Nigerian influencer, K+llaboi, arrested over the m¥rder of his girlfriend
Chukwudi Nnayerugo, standing trial over the alleged m¥rder of his girlfriend, Augusta, has told the Lagos State High Court how he allegedly discovered messages discussing payment for s+x in her Instagram account.
Testifying before Justice Ibironke Harrison at the TBS Annex, Igbosere, Nnayerugo said he began monitoring Augusta’s account after she returned to school in June 2023.
He claimed he later discovered a message from an account identified as “Yako”, whose sender allegedly called Augusta “sweetheart” and suggested continuing their conversation on Instagram.
According to him, the conversation turned to payment, with Augusta allegedly insisting she would not reduce her price.
Nnayerugo said he obtained a virtual SIM card, created a WhatsApp account using “Yako’s” name and profile picture, and continued chatting with Augusta while pretending to be the man.
He claimed she demanded N1.5 million, rejected his offer of N800,000 and eventually agreed to his proposed payment. He also alleged that she agreed to s+x without a c%ndom, provided they underwent medical tests beforehand.
The defendant said the discovery left him shaking and emotionally distressed. He claimed he considered arranging a hotel meeting to confront her but later abandoned the plan.
He said he eventually initiated a video call, during which Augusta screamed and dropped the phone after seeing him. He claimed he confronted her over the alleged arrangement and declared their relationship over.
Nnayerugo also testified that Augusta’s mother questioned his decision to access her daughter’s account, reportedly telling him it was wrong and constituted a criminal offence.
Meanwhile, defence counsel Marcel Oru asked the court to allow Augusta’s mother and brother to leave before a proposed video recording was played, to spare them further emotional distress. Prosecuting counsel Adebayo Araba did not oppose the request.
Justice Harrison adjourned the case to Thursday, October 22.
Rebuilding Nigeria
Yesterday, Wednesday, 21 October, I arrived in London at 7 a.m. from Basel, Switzerland. It was one of my busiest days, filled with several engagements, including meetings with stakeholders in the UK.
I rounded off the day in the evening with a meeting organised by the COPDEM Chief and the NDC Director of Diaspora Affairs, bringing together other stakeholders in London.
All the meetings with British government officials and the Nigerian diaspora centred on our collective responsibility to rebuild Nigeria and free our country from the shackles of bad leadership, corruption, and the lack of accountability that continue to undermine our national development. These challenges have deprived millions of Nigerians of access to basic necessities, including quality healthcare, education, and decent employment.
Nigerians deserve a country where every life matters, where hard work is rewarded, and where every citizen has a fair opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or connections.
We must build a Nigeria where the child of nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody. A country that works for everyone, not just a privileged few.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
