Today I was honoured to attend the Lord Mayor Of Chester's ceremony to celebrate Merchant Navy Day, recognising the invaluable contributions of our brave merchant seafarers.
๐ณ The Mayor got stuck in with Friends Of Stanney at the launch of their 12-week conservation project on the Stanney Grange Estate. The project will run every Thursday between 12-2pm. Come down and join them (Children welcome too)
The Mayor celebrated with students from her home school Ellesmere Port Catholic High at their presentation evening. The drama department put on the most incredible performances from High School musical ๐ผ. Well done to all the students who received an award. You are all stars ๐
The Mayor was delighted to cut the Ribbon for the Store Opening of the newly refurbished Starbucks store opening in Coliseum Shopping Park earlier today.

The Mayor really enjoyed visiting Ellesmere Port Sea Cadets for their annual inspection. The inspection was Ship Shape! The Mayor had lots of fun with the young people, it brought back memories of her own time in the Royal Navy.โ
