PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE
Many friends, neighbors, FTGA members and turfgrass professionals have been involved in helping with the cleanup in the aftermath of Hurricane Ina. One such story from FTGA President Lance Tibbetts is attached.
Sean McNerney has been named director of sales for the Howard Fertilizer and Chemical Company's Turf and Ornamental Division.
His previous experience ranges from sales positions at Bayer to golf course superintendent.
Congratulations, Sean, on your position.
Dr. Kenworthy is an industry leader and well respected scientist. More importantly he shares his passion and knowledge through teaching and has major impact on students and promotion of beneficial natural grass. He is well deserving of this award. Congratulations!
#FTGA members Andrew Jorgensen & Phillip Hisey embarked on serious water conservation at On Top of the World—without sacrificing quality of life for the residents. Read about their plan and their amazing results in this Florida Turf Digest article. #environmentalstewardship
I was honored to have the opportunity this morning to talk about industry advocacy with the Suncoast chapter of the Florida GCSAA. It’s always encouraging to see old friends and to be around the smart people in Florida‘s golf industry.
