@NorthShoreNine@AlexJStumpf Wishing and hoping isn't a strategy. Ozuna is cooked. Davis and Triolo will never hit ML pitching. The bullpen isn't going to suddenly turn it around. Either GMBC starts making moves (including getting an actual 3rd baseman) or this season is wasted.
@KDPomp Interesting that the Dodgers are using a six-man rotation, but the Pirates are not, despite having young starters who may need their innings limited. I know that means fewer starts for Skenes, but the way he has pitched recently, maybe the additional rest would be good.
@TimBenzPGH@TribSports@TribLIVE There are ways to fix flaws as the season progresses -- in particular, being a buyer at the trade deadline to address those flaws. Will the Pirates do that this year?
@SNPittsburgh He's doing what they are paying him to do. I'm glad he is, but let's not get carried away. And his OF defense remains sub-par. They really should make him the DH, after shooting Ozuna into the sun.
@DKPghSports Endy > Davis, and it's not close. When Bart is ready to play, Davis needs to be shipped out, and Endy should catch 80% of the games the rest of the season.
@ChrisMuellerPGH The Pirates got lucky with Santana for a while, but it's time to recognize that he's done and move on. Trade him for "cash considerations" like Lawrence, or DFA him. Make room for a young arm.
@TrueFactsStated I love how this includes the two most famous musical frauds of the 80's, Milli Vanilli and C + C Music Factory (whose video for their biggest hit substituted a more attractive lip-synching girl for the actual singer). And Vanilla Ice, who ripped off Queen/Bowie for his big hit.
@MarkMaddenX It is genuinely hilarious that the Golden Knights are going to their 3rd Cup final in 9 years of existence, while the Leafs, in the hockey capital of Canada, haven't been to the finals since 1967. Add Marner in and it gets even funnier.
