The World Cup is over and so the clubs will be applying for their share of the FIFA Club Benefits Programme

Predictably, Andy Burnham's decision to give Anas Sarwar a peerage and make him a minister has not gone down well with Scottish Labour MPs.
Douglas Alexander, who led Labour's disastrous Holyrood election campaign with Sarwar, also getting it in the neck.
One MP tells HuffPost UK: "There are 37 Scottish Labour MPs all capable of being ministers. We don’t need to import more.
"Scottish members are furious and feel Anas and Douglas Alexander have engineered this for a long time.
"It feels to a lot of us that Anas and Douglas have failed upwards."

I must apologise to Andy Burnham and Labour, yesterday I accused them of being a joke when they gave people 12p off their electric bills, the best joke of course was putting Sarwar into the Lords, how very #BetterTogether
@maroonajambo I remember reading that the legendary Gordon Smith, who played for both our clubs, practiced kicking a tennis ball off a wall until he was able to get the same control whatever way the ball rebounded with either foot. Too many players these days are incapable of using both feet.
Every summer, it slips my mind that Rangers Football Club are the single weirdest football club on Earth.
