Pleasure to visit @twinemployment in Leicester today for national #EmployabilityDay hearing about their work helping people with training and coaching to move into work.
Getting more people into work is at the heart of our vision for spreading opportunity and economic growth.

Employability Day 2023 is just over THREE WEEKS away!
Here is @Alison_McGovern, Shadow Minister for Employment, talking about the importance of ERSA members and the employability sector.

@askryanair Ryanair had “technical faults”from Leeds to Alicante this morning, passengers still in the airport when we arrived for Dublin. We went through the gate but we weren’t able to fly. Alicante passengers suddenly had a plane! Now we have “technical issues”. Yes right!
A brilliant event, another example of how, through ERSA, the employability sector continues to sustain nationwide communities of good practice!

@ersa_news@stephenctimms@DanRCorry@stephenctimms kicks us off by discussing the work issues which the pandemic has thrown up, particularly for those with disabilities and those out of work - argues we need more local level response to support people into work, potentially on an ICS level
@DanRCorry agrees saying we have a very different labour market problem than we thought we would -one of participation. Many people are far from work, and one thing charities are very good at is engaging these people. They create trust to help those who aren't 'low hanging fruit'
@tonywilsonIES@cjayanetti ERSA is working closely with our members that deliver Restart to develop a considered, collective and evidenced response.
We will build on the excellent contributions by @TonyWilsonIES.

This raised money & raised Nightsafe’s profile.
Credit where it’s due - thanks Liam and Adidas! @LiamGallagher@GaryAspen#Adidas#nightsafe#endhomelessness
