Doctors are now fighting to save the lives of people injured in the Russian strike on Kramatorsk. As of now, 30 people have been confirmed killed, and sadly, that number may rise. The Russian bomb effectively hit two city minibuses. Some of those killed have still not been identified because of the severity of their injuries. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another 18 people were injured in the strike. Residential buildings and cars were also damaged.
This strike will not go unanswered. Russia is trying to destroy all life in Donbas, and a response from the world is a must. A forceful response – exactly as the Russians deserve for all the deaths they have brought. May all those killed rest in peace.
Marco Rubio has announced that Europe may yet awaken from its long slumber and rekindle the fire lit here millennia ago. It is a remarkable thing to hear from the representative of a country that has just sailed past 40 trillion dollars in debt and now spends more on interest than on its own military.
One wonders what exactly we slept through. While dozing, Europeans somehow arranged to live several years longer than Americans, to see a doctor without remortgaging the house, and to take August off. Six of the seven happiest countries on earth are European, according to this year's World Happiness Report, and the United States is 23rd.
So thank you, Mr Secretary, for the wake-up call. If the generational shift you are hoping for means tariffs struck down in court, bond yields at their highest since 2007 and a government that insults its allies for sport, we would rather stay in bed.
The World Health Organization said on Wednesday it does not currently have enough information from Russian authorities to conduct a full risk assessment after the death of a plague laboratory worker in Siberia. https://t.co/eaFT3X7VHW
The beginning of modern journalism.
1690 (Inception): Benjamin Harris publishes Publick Occurrences, which is shut down after just one issue by British colonial authorities for lacking a license and displeasing the government.

The blatantly political, pre-election ads featuring and glorifying @realDonaldTrump are still running, still paid for by taxpayers--despite his promise that his massive SuperPac would pick up the tab.
He may think the ads will help Republicans but that PAID FOR BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT disclaimer is sure to piss a lot of Americans off.
A lawyer at the Interior Department who has been at the agency for 18 years has resigned in protest, citing a "deeply troubling assault on the rule of law" by the Trump admin.
"We are headed in the wrong direction," he wrote in his resignation letter.

Florida’s unelected A.G. has been surrounded by scandal from even before was appointed.
He has championed unconstitutional laws, refused to enforce existing ones, done favors for donors, threatened bishops, been held in contempt.
Floridians deserve better.

@Cameron_P0e@MiddleOfMayhem@michaelshermer Those were written after the crucifixion.
Some of the Miracle stories were theological writing styles to make a statement about Jesus of Nazareth.
Some most likely happened.
Physics tells us how nature behaves. Philosophy of physics asks what that behavior actually means.
Are particles and fields truly real? Is spacetime fundamental or something that emerges? Does quantum probability describe nature itself or only our knowledge of it?
The equations give us predictions. The deeper questions begin when we ask what those predictions say about reality.
Anyway, here’s a sharp @TheFloridaTrib investigation by @sharmila701 about how Hope Florida hollowed out Florida’s safety net, drawing the ire of a federal judge, auditors and federal regulators.
Apollo 16 Lunar Rover Onboard Footage HD
This spectacular footage was filmed by Charlie Duke on board the Apollo 16 Lunar Rover using the 16mm DAC Film Camera. It shows the drive piloted by John Young from Station 11 to Station 13.
The footage has been upscaled, interpolated to 60FPS and synchronised to mission audio by Moonpans

CREW has taken more than 120 legal actions so far just this year pushing back against the rampant corruption and legal violations we’re seeing on a daily basis from the Trump administration.
And we’re not slowing down.

My guess: Anti-gravitics breakthrough in the late 1950’s and UAP reverse engineering led to “new physics” capable of world ending tech.
In response, the US classifies that knowledge. Invention secrecy act / MiB types aggressively clean up any breaches.
Also explains why they would swoop into Varginha Brazil in 1997 for example to retrieve that tech and bodies. 🛸
My concern (put on your tinfoil hat): they reason that the only way to prevent catastrophic usage of this tech long term is to cull and control the population. For example, Dick Cheney named by Grusch as top of the pyramid got us into wars via false flag resulting in mass death overseas, and clamp down on civil liberties. We don’t seem very far off from global lockdowns due to the latest crisis du jour. This could be the fight of our lives that we don’t even know we’re in.
Trump: "Today is Vladimir Putin's birthday. I'm sure you're going to celebrate it. Are you going to celebrate his birthday? I have a call set up."
What the hell is wrong with you?! Celebrate? You sure? The birthday of a butcher responsible for murdering 25 people in Ukraine today? Who struck an apartment building at 6 in the morning, wiping out entire families, including 5 small kids ON HIS BIRTHDAY!?
You're sure you want to celebrate such a person instead of maybe mourning his victims?
And they laughed in response. They fucking laughed! What the fuck is wrong with these people???
Repeated flights were reported over Surry Nuclear Power Plant, roughly 20 miles from Langley Air Force Base, including one over both reactor containment buildings. A separate account records radar confirmation from nearby Fort Eustis.
