@RupertLowe10 I don’t agree… I don’t think that the issue for schools is with the child who was taken out, but for those who followed the rules and then have to repeat work / go over it again for those who missed it. The focus be on compelling the holiday companies not to inflate their prices

@KirstieMAllsopp As a solicitor, I find that the main delays are due to:
Inexperienced/untrained/badly trained conveyancers (as a qualified solicitor I am very much a rarity acting in conveyancing);
Management companies producing their packs;
Delays in being formally instructed;
Mortgage offers!

@WeThePeopleN0W @RupertLowe10 @Keir_Starmer On the basis that she pleaded guilty, she admitted breaking the law and accepted that she would be punished… perhaps the daughter should sue her mum for the trauma- I can’t see who else could be responsible?!

@KirstieMAllsopp The problem is that everything is now backwards- a completion date is proposed before everyone is ready to exchange. If all parties waited until the conveyancers in the chain confirmed that they were ready, and a date was then set, we wouldn’t have last minute or simultaneous!

@Jenny_1884 I don’t have an issue with this- clearly an unpopular opinion! I had to have an internal scan as me GP couldn’t fit my coil: it was done by a male doctor, which made no difference to me at all.
