An elephant can weigh anywhere from 12,000-24,000 pounds when fully grown!
#MammalMonday: the black-footed #ferret is North America's only native species of ferret. 90% of their diet is prairie dogs, and they may consume over 100 prairie dogs each year!
They are #endangered due to habit loss and a decreasing #food supply.
