Emergency service Cadets based in Kettering teaching young people about Police, Ambulance and Fire. Working closely with local communities and their priorities.

So graded cadets had a meeting today in their own time to discuss how they can take their cadet unit to another level with a stranger in the background @annmarielawson1 @CIJulesMead

Tonight the group of kettering graded cadets are meeting without leaders to discuss how they can assist and take the scheme further and plan their own activities working together then report back to leaders with their findings @annmarielawson1 @CIJulesMead

@AnitaBurch05 @CIJulesMead @annmarielawson1 @NorthantsChief Not a problem the cadets may have had fun but we sneaked in team building and communication skills without them knowing to show they can do it and have lots of fun. It was a good 4 days we will be booking again

Cadets also did archery, Jacobs ladder, fencing, orienteering, zip wires, obstacle challenge, scrapheap challenge lots and lots of team building with 15 different activities. I think they are tired now @CIJulesMead @annmarielawson1 @NorthantsChief

So the kettering cadets are on their residential first task is to design a raft then build it then sail on it, so make the design with twigs and pebbles then start building @annmarielawson1 @CIJulesMead @NorthantsChief

so the cadets have been out doing knife test purchasing, i am very happy to say we tested 8 stores and everyone challenged, no sale of a knife. maybe the education is working @CIJulesMead @NorthantsChief @INorpol @annmarielawson1
