The incredibly early wake up time for those of us on the other side of North America will be worth it ;)
The 2024 ESG forum @ESG_Project is in two weeks! We will be organizing a panel (Oct. 14, 10.30 am CEST) AND our annual meeting (Oct. 15, 7 pm CEST) and look forward to seeing you virtually!
Our annual meeting will invite what promises to be an insightful conversation around what unites us as urban environmental governance scholars. It will feature some of our members who will share their reflections on the subject.
What are the characteristics and position of cities participating in global urban climate governance ? 🧵on the content of my and @FortierJacob1 ’s new article ⬇️ (1/7)
I'm honored and heartened and thrilled af to have my book Form and Flow and @hiangelo's book How Green Became Good together in the @theAAG Review of Books, with reviews by so many brilliant and generous scholars of urban nature... https://t.co/KsY3u69Esd

Today is #WorldCitiesDay, a great day to repost this and celebrate 20 years of research on cities and climate change.
Our #ESG2023 annual meeting was full of inspiring discussions and questions around what has been accomplished and what the next 20 years of research hold for us.
Thank you to all @ESG_UrbanWG@ESG_Project for organising a wonderful panel looking back over the development of the field of cities & climate change over 20 years since we wrote this book … which seems to have literally grown over the decades! Time flies when you’re having fun!

A lot of people here to discuss urban questions at the Urban Working Group meeting on this extra day of the conference despite the early morning session! #ESG2023
