We are just a few weeks out from the start of another Barons baseball season! Our team has started spring training down in Dunedin, with plenty of young depth to lead our squad this year. Carter Fuerst will also be entering his fourth and final year of his contract with the club.

Barons drop both of their games today, 11-1 against @srssnation and 12-8 to École Saint-Joachim Braves. That ends the season for the team. We fought hard right till the end like always, even despite the cold weather. We’ll see you next year for another season of Barons Baseball!!

It’s BARONS Game Day! Day one of zones hosted in Mitchell is a round robin against @srssnation and École Saint-Joachim Braves. The team needs at least one W to make it to the playoff round tomorrow! It all starts today at 10, so come out and watch! #whynotus #WeTheNorth

Barons lose a close one to @srssnation by a final score of 12-1. Rubber match is next week on Wednesday in round robin play during playoffs. We’ll look to even the season series when it counts!

@ESSBaseball ended the Altona Tourney on a winning note. The @WCMillerAces did a great job of maintaining the ballpark both days. Beautiful facility and well run tourney! Thanks for having us! ⚾️

Barons leave Altona with a W!! The team won 9-7 against Lundar. We’ll look to keep it going Thursday when we play an exhibition game before playoffs against @srssnation. It should be a good one, so come on out to watch! First pitch is at 5:30.

Barons lose their second game 14-1. The team fought hard right till the end. Next game is tomorrow morning at 9:30 against the Lundar Kodiaks. We’ll need a good night’s sleep @DaysInnCanada to recover after today.

BARONS WALK IT OFF!!! The team erased a six run lead in the bottom half of the seventh to beat Gab Roy 13-12! @MattSmith_20 with the double to clear the bases and win it! When asked about the game, Smith said “It was a great overall team win and we’re getting ready for Altona.”

It’s BARONS GAMEDAY!! The team wraps up their regular season tonight on the road against the Gabrielle Roy Cavaliers in Ile des Chenes. Game time is at 5:30. Come on out and show some support!
