Congratulations to Mr. John Kopmeier for being voted our Teacher of the Year! He is a 4th grade science/social studies teacher who engages his students in their lessons and inspires a love for what he is teaching.

When it’s 6 AM and this catches your eye…the STEAM teacher, Rachel Winberry, supporting and encouraging the learning going on in the math classrooms…🥰 through an array model of multiplication, and in the science and ELA classrooms through the words/vocabulary!💜
One of our @ESWildcats’ 3rd graders, Aljoud, spoke to Haywood County’s Commission tonight. He was a guest of the chair of the education committee, & he shared his current experiences in school. He did an amazing job representing @HaywoodSchools.

Our monthly @HaywoodSchools’ update was held w/ the school board & county commission education committee along w/ district leaders. @ESWildcats was the host school. Loved hearing from our 3rd & 4th graders. Ss shared about their work w/ @TheLeaderinMe’s data notebooks & goals. 💜
These absolutely wonderful students represented our school well by sharing about themselves, what they like about school, and the ways we celebrate and work hard for those celebrations through a zoom meeting with our school board members and community stakeholders! So Proud!💜
We have delayed school start for our 3rd & 4th graders @ESWildcats until 8/11/21 while the finishing touches happen on new floors & new desks. This facelift is an example of planning our work & working our plan. Look forward to greeting our students & their families this week! 💜
We began our first day back for staff and the House Crests were created! Can’t wait to see which students end up in which houses! Schools goals to be achieved by all!!! #SchoolOfAwesome
