@Jonathan_Blow@paiari_ Yeah, because no professional, commercial software developer has EVER blamed the end user for when it doesn't work...
Tell me you've never talked to support for Microsoft, Google, Apple, Adobe, and <insert any other large corporation here>, without telling me you haven't.
@YahooNews After over 20 years as Yahoo! as my homepage and my place to get my news, I'm sorry to say that it's time I move on. The abysmal train wreck that is the new home page, I was able to circumvent by using https://t.co/J4VKbQ1iUp for quite some time. Alas, it's goodbye Yahoo!
@JotusX1@UMG@TIME Beyond time. Major labels are old, out-dated, relics of the past, and should be left behind in the dust if this is how they are going to treat their customers and clients.
@UMG@TIME "Driven by purpose, powered by music." - What a load of bull - you're driving by money, powered by DMCA takedowns.
I think it's past time that the major record labels become a thing of the past. They are old, out-dated, and no longer necessary for the industry to thrive.
@thegravitygroup Awesome video, thank you to Korey for sharing his knowledge and experience.
I wonder if Korey could answer this question - who was the designer for "The Great White"? That coaster is one of my all-time favorite coasters!
@Roku Congratulations, enjoy the following "features":
✅ Bricked TV unless you agree to forced arbitration.
✅ Data breaches.
✅ Forced Ads thru HDMI.
Yeah, these sound wonderful. #FOffForcedArbitration
@Yahoo What happened to the Yahoo home page? Did it get hacked, and MSNBC took over? If this constitutes as a redesign, it's bad.
OpenWeb was a horrible choice, but if the new home page stays like this, I'll find another site to get my news from, this is the nail in the coffin for me.
@Smartwool So let me get this straight, you can enforce an opt-in agreement thru email, but if your customers wish to opt-out, they must send a written letter via USPS priority mail, or hand delivered within 30 days?!?
#FOffForcedArbitration
@AniNerdMay@Marck_my_words@Roku Looks like your guess was correct. News came out earlier today that users had their accounts stolen. And they knew about this for a few months.
@mazcrumple @AniNerdMay@Roku I'll give you 3 scenarios, and it seems that one may already be happening:
1) Unlikely, but if a Roku device failed, and say burned down your house or damage equipment
2) Data breach of your credit card (already happening?)
3) Data collection/sales without consent.
@HPSupport This isn't a private conversation, no worries.
"We’re investing on that customer, and if this customer doesn’t print enough or doesn’t use our supplies, it’s a bad investment."
Tell your CEO he doesn't have to worry about investing in me or anyone I make recommendations to.
@HPSupport I'll pass on the DM idea, let's keep this public, so that everyone knows exactly what HP is pulling on it's customers. Rather than selling a printer, you want people to rent a printer, absolutely disgusting that HP is once again trying to bleed every penny out of it's customers.
@Roku I have been recommending Roku for years, loved the service...I think that ends today. Today my TV will no longer work unless I waive my rights with a forced arbitration agreement to Roku. I can't even choose another input without agreeing to these insane terms.
