One thing to remember, for those critical of Silas Demary Jr.’s NCAA tourney play, is that the injury was worse than most know: Grade 2 ankle sprain with 1 torn ligament and 2 partially torn ligaments in ankle.
He basically played on pure will.
Yooo I’m sick right now 🤢 but I’m proud of that fight! They left it all out there. Sometimes the ball just don’t bounce your way. That’s the game. But don't get it twisted... this is UConn 🐺 BLUEST of the BLOODS. Both Men & Women are FINAL FOUR POWER. Nobody else touching that!
In spite of everything, they had multiple chances to win the game. I don’t think many including myself expected this group to make the National Championship game. Should be nothing but proud of this group for fighting to the very end. Thank you @UConnMBB.
Hurley is so awesome. Giving credit to Geno, Calhoun and Ollie in building the UConn program in the post game interview. A winner, who respects others, and is more humble than non-UConn people give him credit for. What a win, what a legacy. Thank you Coach @dhurley15 !!!
I told yall back in Jan that @mullins_braylon had ice in his veins. That shot will be on replay on my phone for at least the next 48 hours if not longer. Let’s gooooo. How bout them Huskies.
