@PolycarpsPen Going back to shadowy, impotent priests unable to take away our sins is an interesting take. Heb 7:11-16. When there was a change in the priesthood to one belonging to another tribe, there was necessarily a change in the law. Moses said nothing about priests from Judah.

@PolycarpsPen In your view, are you saying the former Levite law was NOT set aside because of its weakness? That is, once a BETTER hope was introduced? Heb 7:18. And same with the sacrificial laws, are they temporarily set aside, or were they a shadow? Heb 8:5

@PolycarpsPen Yes, the dividing wall was literal but the context of Eph 3 is pointing to a deeper union in a new man, a new man that would be prevented by ceremonial cleansing laws. Are the very literal Levitical laws still in place? Or was it set aside for something better? Heb 7:18

@LostMyHats @Genesis_to_Rev Paul at times might use “ethnos” as “Gentiles”, en masse. NT version of goyim? Matt 25:32 says ethnos will appear before Christ as judge. He separates them one from another, one to life, one to punishment. Is he admitting the whole corporate, or individuals therefrom?
