If you hit a 40 inch vertical one time it is very easy to maintain that height with doing a smaller amount of jumps.
I have a kid that was out for about a month and came back and hit a 40 within a couple of jumps.
The vertical is low hanging fruit compared to most metrics
@justinc56719938 For us, we’re limited on space so we are only going 10yard lead 10 yard fly.
Ive talked to other coaches and some go as far as 30+ yard lead.

If you have a faster athlete naturally stride length. Wickets also teach stride.
Here is a cheat code to speed the process along even faster. Do something that emphasizes GCT. Such as hurdle hops, depth jumps, or RSI tests.
