Canadian beef is NOT a bargaining chip.
Allowing Mercosur beef access would mean more lower-quality imports, putting pressure on Canadian farmers and ranchers, rural communities, and the environment.
Stand up for Canadian ranchers and farmers. Say no to Mercosur beef access.

There is significant misinformation being shared on social media regarding CFIA’s proposed traceability regulations. CCA worked with provincial associations and other industry associations to provide input to ensure the regulations follow the Cattle Implementation Plan which was led by the cattle industry.
No new regulations were implemented on January 1, 2026.
CCA will continue to work with provincial members and governments to ensure that any proposed changes work for producers. We are calling for a pause to address the concerns that we are hearing.
New Episode!
Today we are talking with Tyler Fulton, CCA President about the current tariff situation and risk mitigation strategies producers can use to protect their bottom line.

Hey all my cattle feeding friends! We have this year’s steer calves listed for sale on Friday’s TEAM sale for late January delivery. These 300 calves averaged 2.4lbs/day to just before weaning.

@Sask_F7 Haha I can appreciate this. A couple of weeks ago, we were rolling corn right off the combine, and trying to continuously move the whole setup to form a long pile to cover with plastic
We’ll keep speaking up until the message is clear: Bill C-282 is bad trade policy. A big thank you to our Vice President, Tyler Fulton, for amplifying our concerns on this crucial issue. Help us spread the word. Click here to write to your provincial senator today: https://t.co/vfNlQ69pkB
Sorry to hear of the passing of Bob Sopuck. Admired his passion for conservation and the outdoors. A true environmentalist who we could all learn from. Condolences to Bob's family and friends.
China says the anti-dumping investigation is warranted because canola seed imports from Canada jumped in 2023. Perhaps they rose because China lifted its 3-yr embargo on Canada's two largest exporters in 2022? #huawei

BORIS JOHNSON: Forget the scare stories about hormone treated beef: we've killed our free-trade deal with Canada out of fear of the EU. https://t.co/8BNFrbvLfb
“The Canadian beef industry is a strong advocate of free and open trade. To avoid getting a bad trade deal for Canadians, we need trade partners that want to trade fairly and not use rules and regulations to their own advantage.” Nathan Phinney, CCA https://t.co/rMQ8iDmYFT
@RonKrahn@FCCagriculture We made the switch about 4 years ago and after the initial relearning/adjustment period it’s been excellent! I like accessing on different devices, especially payroll or invoicing when I’m away. I would not go back.
