The farmers of Shimshal Agri coop society have started cultivating tomato through vertical farming in the remotest village of GB. Which enabled them to fulfill their domestic needs & also market their production to main markets of GB and earning substantial income.
Shimshal a Vallely of Gojal Tehsil in Dist Hunza, borders with China, lies at altitude of 10,200 feet above sea level. ETI-GB established farmers agriculture coop society, introduced vertical farming for off season vegetable, tomato, for the first time in village. 1/2
