A week ago we were invited to @De_White_LaNube for a #WomenInSteam event. Our girls were able to meet, ask questions and have hands on break out sessions with successful women in steam careers. Thanks for this amazing opportunity! @HAntwine_MS

This all art classes collaborative project has been in the works for two weeks. We reviewed the element of art, line, last week on big butcher paper. This week we continued our discussion about line with a read aloud from the book “The Dot” @HAntwine_MS @MChavez_AMS

Wow! I can’t believe that after 4 days I have been able to write code and program something?!?! I had absolute zero experience with code. It was intimidating actually! But I’m proud to have completed the camp! Can’t wait to use this with my students! @HAntwine_MS @MChavez_AMS

Artists see the world differently. Our bubble activity allows us to create, observe and appreciate the art and science behind what makes a bubble. #CougarArtists made bubbles, measured length, height, radius and diameter as well as observed color. @HAntwine_MS @MChavez_AMS

We enrolled my daughter in Girl Scouts recently. At the first informational meeting the girls painted flower pots and planted seeds. We are taking this opportunity at home to observe and record the growth of the flowers. Let’s hope we have enough of a green thumb to collect data
