๐ Academic Research: What will determine Ukraine's anti-corruption future?
A research paper by the @U4_ACRC, "Sustaining Ukraine's anti-corruption future: The paths that lie ahead," examines the sustainability of the anti-corruption agenda and what strategic shifts are needed.
The research was produced with the support of the EUACI. Some inspiration for this paper is drawn from two workshops, hosted by the EUACI in October 2024 and May 2025, which brought together representatives from CSOs, media, public authorities, academia, culture and business.
One of key components of the reform is an independent monitoring system for state subvention funds. In 2024-2026, the EUACI experts analyzed 465 projects before the start of construction. As a result, 362.9 million UAH of unjustified expenses were identified.
Not only were the results presented, but also a real kitchen serving dishes from the school menu. Over two days, hundreds of guests had the opportunity to taste the meals that Ukrainian schoolchildren receive today. And, as always, there was a queue.
With the UK and Germany now on board, the EUACI will expand its work across all components. A new priority will be anti-corruption mainstreaming at the sector level.

๐ค The United Kingdom and Germany are joining Denmark and the EU in supporting the EUACI!
The United Kingdom commits ยฃ2,400,000 and Germany โฌ3,500,000. Denmark will continue to implement and co-fund the programme alongside the European Commission.
Key challenges ahead include systemic coordination, resource provision, coherent use of external support, information sharing, and quality monitoring and evaluation.
๐Building an integrity-driven educational environment is one of EUACI's priorities.
๐Implementing the Strategy for the Development of Integrity in Education for 2026โ2030
Last year, the EUACI, together with NACP's Integrity Office and the @MON_UKRAINE, developed an Integrity Strategy based on expert consultations.
It is available at: https://t.co/AIPllIr9CD
The NACP Deputy Head Serhiy Hupiak noted that over the first five months of implementation, the necessary institutional groundwork had been laid, cooperation mechanisms were launched and working processes established.
44 NABU women staff members took part in a session on leadership under increased responsibility, and worked on initiatives they would like to put into practice. Based on the results, five participants will receive individual coaching.
๐ฉโ๐ผ EUACI launched the second wave of coaching for women at NABU
Last year, 70% of women reported a high level of emotional strain and self-doubt. By the end, participants spoke of clearer goals, a stronger ability to lead their teams, and more confident decision-making.
The main takeaway from the session is simple: integrity isn't a separate dish. It's an ingredient already inside every construction and every procurement of construction works.
Spot the odd one out in a estimate documentation on school canteen modernization: a fridge, a cooker hood, a stoveโฆ a Christmas tree. This isn't a children's puzzle. It's a realย modernization estimate that the EUACI experts reviewed.
Between 2024 and 2026, experts reviewed 465 projects. As a result, they identified over UAH 362 million in unjustified expenses and redirected the funds to modernize additional 39 canteens.
