Absolutely appalled that @USEmbassyTirana would issue travel documents to a convicted felon while there is a live @INTERPOL_HQ yellow notice on the child he is travelling with.

A custody order does not override an international warrant.

We believe that the “family courts” have been driving the majority of current international “child abduction” cases through legally unsound decisions that force protective parents (usually mothers) into hiding to protect their children from abuse.

Christine Masters is a US mother who fled life-threatening domestic violence to protect her young daughter from her former partner, who is not even her biological father.

This is not the first case we have come across where custody of a child is awarded to a man who does not have paternity.

Christine is pleading with immigration authorities in New Zealand, saying that the threatened extradition of her child is a matter of life or death.

However, we know that Government bodies typically pay scant regard to the right to life and freedom from torture and inhuman and degrading treatment in family cases. The outcomes are deadly.

We also know that the USA is:

- the only country in the world that has not ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

- one of only six UN member states that have not ratified CEDAW - Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women.

Therefore, the question is whether it is at all safe to return women and children to the USA, especially as it is well known that the “family courts” in the USA are routinely trafficking children into abuse and sexual exploitation.
