@thejournal_ie@AnPostvox A new kind of money making scam. Got the initial email on 15/11 with a follow up today. Be warned, be careful, especially during the festive season.
The 'anti-immigrant sentiment' in Ireland will not go away, it will only increase, exponentially.
No amount of training, reeducation, name calling or hate speech laws will change how the Irish feel.
We are an ancient people and Ireland has been our home for thousands of years. Throughout that time our island remained homogeneous, Irish people are white.
You can't force us to accept millions of migrants from the other side of the world and tell us everything is fine. The people coming here don't share our religion, culture or values. They don't look like us or sound like us and will always stand out.
Those people also have their own countries, their own homes. Ireland is all we have, and we don't even have all of it.
We will never accept losing our homeland.
We will not be forced to share this island with anyone else.
The more immigrants you bring in the more the public anger will grow, it doesn't matter whether they're poor asylum seekers or tech workers. We don't want our resources going to asylum seekers and we certainly don't want to compete with wealthy Muslims, Chinese and Indians for housing in our tiny country. No foreigner should ever be allowed to purchase a home in Ireland, but you've allowed them to come here and buy up Irish homes in massive numbers during a housing crisis!!
The Irish are now paying rent to foreign landlords and that's something we simply cannot accept. Our ancestors did not go to war to replace the British with other landlords.
Every man, woman and child in this country learns about Irish history, which means we are all capable of recognizing when we are being colonised again.
We see people from other countries gaining political power and recruited to police us, we see them marching in their thousands through our streets, we see how our once peaceful and safe country is now unsafe for Irish people.
Altering the demographics of a homogeneous nation in this manner is completely unnatural and unprecedented. That's why there's backlash, that's why people aren't happy, that's why the 'anti-immigrant sentiment' is growing.
We will not accept what is happening to our country. Fighting to protect your home isn't a choice, it's an instinct that even animals understand and trying to convince us otherwise is pointless.
Ireland belongs to the Irish! 🇮🇪
@NCMIndiaa Totally disgraceful that nobody came to stop her from assaulting the auto driver. She claims to be pregnant, so what was her husband doing when the woman was beating the crap out of the driver. Proper punishment and strict action must be taken.
@bhat080380@NCMIndiaa Claiming to be pregnant and beating the crap out of a poor and hard working person.. only to apologize when an FIR is lodged is not justifiable. She should be punished for physical assault and deported back to the hole she came out from
@karnatakaportf That car is beyond repair.. its a total write off. Even after spending Rs20L, it will never be the same. The restaurant needs to take on full responsibility and re-imburse for a car of similar spec.
20 minutes of Food Cost 20 lakh loss in Bengaluru Marathahalli
Bengaluru’s failing governance, corporate negligence, and police corruption have once again come to light in a shocking incident at The Big Barbecue, Marathahalli. A woman’s ₹1.4 crore Mercedes-Benz was wrecked due to the reckless actions of valet drivers, who took her car for a joyride instead of parking it. They crashed into an illegal wall, causing ₹20 lakh in damages, and then fled. Instead of taking responsibility, the restaurant provided fake driver details and forged contracts, trying to evade liability. When the woman approached the police for justice, she was met with corruption and apathy. Officers suggested she “settle” for ₹2 lakh rather than pursue legal action, making it clear that protecting businesses mattered more than justice. The restaurant continues to operate freely, the valet drivers are missing, and the woman is left fighting alone. This incident highlights Bengaluru’s crumbling consumer rights and law enforcement failures. If even a high-profile case involving a luxury car can be buried so easily, what happens to ordinary citizens? The government boasts about “Brand Bengaluru,” but reality shows a city where fraud thrives, and police can be bought off.
The woman now faces ₹20 lakh in repair costs, with no support from authorities. If such fraud remains unchecked, anyone could be the next victim. It’s time to demand accountability, expose corruption, and refuse to let powerful businesses escape justice.

@amitmalviya As long as Mamata Banerjee is CM, there will be no fair investigation without her meddling in the affairs. She is blaming the doctors of the 27 additional deaths, but it is her actions who has killed these 27 and countless others if she does not resign. Time for her to move on
@amitmalviya Mamata Banerjee needs to resign irrespective of what the doctors want. From day 1 she has been trying to hide the crime using her influence as CM. Most of her party members are criticizing her, expect for the TV/cinema personalities who don't know the ABCs of politics.
@rickykej@airindia What you have experienced is Indian hospitality at its best. Overworked, tired staff, zero empathy, and no accountability of their actions. Would ride a horse rather than travel on AI, if that was the last option. Hope it was a lesson learnt. Atleast your flight took off!
@baavri What I fail to understand why are people still flying with #Airindia. Complaints like this is rampant. Nothing at all has changed after the migration to Tatas. Ground staff, cabin crew, constant flight delays are a regular if not daily occurrence
Empathy is lacking
This isn’t satire, an actual BBC News presenter got caught giving the middle finger live.
Maryam Moshiri summing up the professionalism currently at the BBC.
@MohammadKaif A rule is there for a reason. If there is a problem with the rule, then application should be submitted to get the rule removed or changed.
