In the morning, Greek Cypriot & Turkish Cypriot translators and interpreters visited DG SCIC, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Interpretation where they were welcomed by DG SCIC’s Director-General, Genoveva Ruiz Calavera & DG REFORM’s Director-General Mario Nava.
At the meeting with DG SCIC, participants were informed about quality standards applied during selection and recruitment procedures, as well development opportunities for the interpreters.
