I think Dan is suggesting Mahomes is just taking advantage of the current rules of the game. I don't love the analogy tho, because those basketball rule changes made the game better and more exciting. The rules Mahomes is trying to take advantage of have made the game worse, and like you said, it's just cringe to watch players flopping. I don't care what sport or what the rulebook says, I don't like seeing it.

I like Mahomes as a person and appreciate his talent. Reid and Spags are both great. The competence of the two coaching staffs is actually the key difference between Buffalo and KC imo. (I'm not a fan of McDermott)

But you're right about the rest of the Chiefs. I was sick of Kelce even before the Swift era.
