Most automakers in China are experiencing a tough mid-Sep which is traditionally a hot season as opposed to this year.
Keeping the trend is difficult enough. Some even slipped.

Tesla's delivery last week was trending up.
Xiaomi's delivery has stablized at ~10k even without the 2nd factory running.
BYD, Geely, Leapmotor strong. Leapmotor is the strongest.
BMW and Mercedes turned weak since September.
Li Auto i6 is coming in around 10 days.
This new pure electric vehicle has a single motor version and a dual motor version. It's expected to be priced at CNY 220k (USD 30k), with a 3000mm wheelbase and a length of 4950mm.
That's why the stock price rallied today.
Li Auto, NIO and Xpeng had diverged performance last week with Li Auto's order edging up (i8 contributed 30% of the order), NIO's order down a little and Xpeng strong thanks to continued order intake of the new P7.

Huawei cars had a mixed performance last week with M8 new orders down significantly but S800 stable at 700 per week.
S800 is the model that targets Maybach. A run rate of 3k per month is amazing.

Leapmotor's order intake even edged up week over week at the beginning of September. It's a record high since the company was established.
Geely, BYD's biggest rival, has a stable order intake last week. Not including high-end brand Zeeker and Lynk&Co.

Tesla's Model Y L still keeps a run rate of over 20k orders per month and doesn't cannibalize Model Y and Model 3.
Tesla investors could finally find fundamental catalysts explaining recent stock rally. Rare.
BYD order stable week over week.

Not a fan of Charlie Kirk.
Seen a lot of video cuts of him.
Strongly oppose the criminal act of killing someone only because you disagree with the person.
No need to feel sympathy for him or anyone as he once said.
Just move on and do what you think is right.

Hesai, a global Lidar leader, is going public in HK, raising $~500mn.
To be or not to be, is an overhanging question for ever Lidar company in the autonomous driving space.
Yet, Lidar has been widely accepted in various smart devices. Maybe time for Elon to change his view?
This is the ideal unit economic breakdown of a robotaxi operator in China. As ambitious as Waymo & Tesla.
They're definitely far away from this ''vision'' whatsoever.
Key problem resides in the top line. They assume a robotaxi could run like a human driver and charge the same.
Insta360 is likely to be a disruptor to DJI.
With it's proprietary 360Β° vision tech, the incumbated brand Anti-gravity is releasing a 360Β° drone, A1.
You can enjoy the view in real time with an XR glasses when flying the drone, which offers unique experience compared with DJI.
Multiple signals have shown that the bloodbath Chinese EV price war has slowed.
Automakers are now turning to profit making as opposed to market share taking, as they should have done a long time ago.
The read through is positive for Tesla.

Li Auto, NIO and Xpeng are so-called emerging automakers in China.
Xpeng P7 has the potential to be another best seller of Xpeng.
(Anecdotal order intake, for reference only. But this could be a leading indicator)
Geely and Leapmotor are BYD's biggest rivals in CN.
They have launched attractive products with aggressive pricing, posing serious threats to BYD.
They're going global to compete with it soon.
(Anecdotal order intake, for reference only. But this could be a leading indicator)
Xiaomi's order intake is weak recently due to extremely long wait time.
You will have to wait over 30 weeks for SU7 and 50 weeks for YU7, which is insane and phenomenal!
(Anecdotal order intake, for reference only. But this could be a leading indicator)
AITO M8 EV also attracted huge attention, showing impressive brand awareness of Huawei.
These 4 brands are all actually Huawei car brands, where Huawei is in charge of most of the sections.
