Today we had our annual lab cleanup & end of year party. Weโve welcomed some wonderful new lab members & had a lot of great things to celebrate this year. And now the lab is sparkling clean, too! Thanks for a great 2022! @UNSWBABS
Itโs a strange (but great!) feeling to have finally finished that (big) assignment after ~4 years. Thanks to the lab for bringing the excitement to my PhD thesis submission, and to @KateGQuinlan for being the best supervisor I could ask for! @UNSWBABS
I second this, so great to discuss science in person with researchers from 28 countries! And the conference dinner in a cave at University Hospital Basel was pretty cool too #CSImmunomet22
Had the most incredible time in Basel, Switzerland ๐จ๐ญ at the Translational Immunometabolism conference with @EVohralik. A highlight was the Wicklefisch conference bag, used to float down the Rhine. ๐ #CSImmunomet22
Translational Immunometabolism conference #CSImmunomet22 day 1 - great talks about promising obesity & T2D therapeutics, making friends from Australia & Austria, & exploring Basel in the summer๐จ๐ญ
More interesting (brief) stories of collaborative research between engineers, chemists, biologists & clinicians from our 5-min gala dinner speakers! Dr Emily Wong, Prof @PalliThordarson & A/Prof @KateGQuinlan. Thanks for inspiring us all! @TheASMR1#ASMRMRW2022
Feeling very inspired after @TheASMR1 Medalist Professor Fiona Woodโs presentation at the NSW gala dinner tonight! Improving clinical experiences for patients through collaboration, innovation & persistence - something we can all learn from! #ASMRMRW2022
Itโs great to be out & watching a wonderful talk by 2022 ASMR medalist Professor Fiona Wood at the ASMR NSW dinner at @unsw. Iโm also enjoying reconnecting with colleagues past & present @TheASMR1#asmrmrw2022
Great to hear @TheASMR1 President @TonyKenna3 welcoming guests to the NSW Gala Dinner at UNSWโs Leighton Hall - excited for the night ahead celebrating health & medical research! #ASMRMRW2022
