SIHA Network celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child with 200 young female students, their teachers and other members of the school community at Hallelujah school in Addis Ababa, #Ethiopia with an awareness creation event on #periodjustice.

The celebration provided a learning opportunity on sustainable dignity kits as well as Menstrual Health and Hygiene. The event was also filled with educational and empowering music, poetry and drama performances by the students themselves.

In conducting this activity, we were happy to have been joined by representatives of our partner @Icarepowerperiod and their counterparts @AdeyPads. Our partnership allowed for the distribution of 200 #birqedignitykit, a one of its kind dignity kit package.

The students reflected through an art session on what they took from the celebration and shared powerful messages through their art.
