COL’s Empowering Women and Girls (EWG) project is helping women and girls access education, build skills for the labour market, and participate more fully in economic and social life.
Now in its third year, with support from Global Affairs Canada and local partner organisations, the project is contributing to meaningful change across Bangladesh, Malawi, Mozambique, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

In Mozambique, Orlenda, a young female farmer, introduced an innovative peer-mentorship approach. The initiative brought together five to seven experienced female farmers who volunteered to share practical knowledge.

We have developed the EWG Social Protection Mobile App. The app provides information on a wide range of social protection programmes across Bangladesh, Malawi, Mozambique, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
