I had the pleasure of touring Priority Tax Relief, a Spokane based business founded by former Eastern Washington University football players (Go Eags!). The company employs more than 230 people both locally and across the country. The company has done hiring former college athletes from throughout our region (Eags, Cougs, Zags, Vandals, Pirates ect) and offering internship opportunities to current students during their off‑season.
This box came allllll the way from Cheney, Washington... It's the Eastern Washington Eagles!
Some of my favorite receivers went to EWU including Cooper Kupp, Kendrick Bourne and Efton Chism.
Thank you Coach Best and @EWUFootball for this gear, I love SWOOP!
We had a great time at Sunset Elementary with our friends from @CISSpokane, @Numericacu, and @EWUEagles Admissions representing the Hoodie Project as student-athletes got to visit with future Eags and answer questions about attending college, plus hand out some sweatshirts!
Wonderful to meet Dean Lewis-Kinnunen from EWU’s Health Sciences and Public Health this morning as we focused on rural workforce needs. Eastern is doing some great things to train our students. @ewupresident@EWUGovRelations@EWUEagles
Jodi Signer, a student in the EWU Regional Initiatives in Dental Education Program (RIDE), received one of our nation’s highest military honors last fall! 🏅🇺🇸 @EWUArmyROTC#goeags#Eagle4Life

My first legisative job as a session aide had me housed in that building. More importantly, I met my wife there! Celebrating 20 years this summer. The good workers there allowed me to have a couple of bricks from the facade.
89 years later: Irv Newhouse Replacement Project crews are finishing up with the removal of brick and Wilkeson sandstone. Crews began the demolition on the building's south facade yesterday. #waleg
Appreciate all the good work legislators did this year and also worth looking back to last year's investment in @EWUCyber. Already paying dividends with a National Title!
COP is proud to be part of the bill signing for SB 5079, which adjusts the tuition-setting date, helping WA students & families better understand college costs. Special thanks to Sen. John Braun, @ewueagles and @WWU for your support. #waedu#waleg
Appreciate the significant investment the legislature made in this crucial program. With the additional funding requested in this budget, EWU will be graduating 80 new nurses a year in 2025!
More than 100 students applied for 40 seats in Eastern Washington University’s new four-year nursing program to start upper-division classes this fall. https://t.co/2s0T8XI0oM
