“I’ve never needed people to tell me how I should live, my choices made me who I am today. My stories, my dreams, my mistakes, my success, all belong to me”
-Zhang Yixing
Nobody’s saying they wanted this to happen. What people are pointing out is that it’s the result of the choices that they made. That’s not the same thing as intent. You can have the best intentions in the world and still mess up. We all do, because it’s part of being human. The issue here is that you can’t seem to accept that your idols make mistakes too. Instead of acknowledging that their approach was flawed, you shifted (and keep shifting) the blame onto people who had nothing to do with it.
