This afternoon, some of the children wanted to build the three little pigs houses in the sand! We compared their sizes to see which house was the tallest and widest. @GilberdykeRocks

Today the Robins have enjoyed making their own play dough following simple instructions. The children then used the play dough to make five current buns.

This week the wrens and Robins have enjoyed practicing their sewing skills as part of our textiles week.

This week we have been learning the sound ‘S’ Meet Syd the snail.

We were also helping Mrs Wilson to build some bookshelves. The children were able to put the screws in themselves!

In Robins and Wrens, we have been practicing our fine motor skills by using tweezers to remove parts of the sunflower!

The Wrens loved having a visit from Claire the Paramedic today and learnt about the ambulance service and pretended to be paramedics.

Yesterday we found our caterpillars had turned into beautiful butterflies, therefore we all went outside to release them! We were all very excited🦋

In Literacy the Robins are looking at recounts. For the children to write and talk about recounts we had our very own trip to the cinema. We discussed what we did First, Next, Then and Finally! Great work Robins ✨
