Reception have been finding out about the Queen. The children wrote invitations, painted union jack flags and made crowns then yesterday we had an afternoon tea party! Children at home made crowns too, looking forward to seeing pictures of their tea parties too @HPSDerbyshire

Reception children have enjoyed our continued London theme this week. Both at home and school we have been learning to tell the time, written some London fact books and made some super Big Ben pictures @HPSDerbyshire #proud

At home and in school Reception children have been finding out about London this week; with a story, map work and some of our own artwork based around 'Cityscape' by James Rizzi. We think they look amazing! @HPSDerbyshire

This week has seen the return of some of our Reception children. Having a 'Billy Goats Gruff theme' we have had super home and school learning. We have painted pictures, written facts, ordered the story, made bridges and also completed some of the @WhiteRoseMaths activities😊

Early Years and KS1 children had an ‘eggcellent’ day yesterday making their fantastic Easter bonnets. They did a great parade and finished the day with a little Easter egg hunt 🐣🌸🐰

Yesterday we decided to revamp the Nursery wicker house and fix it using ribbons, I think you will agree that the children did a great job :)

Today we decided to start the day with an Andy's Wild Workout. Then we decorated our windows with rainbows. The children have enjoyed playing in the sunshine completing a cvc word treasure hunt and also a spot of gardening #outdoorlearning #fun

Another lovely day with EYFS and KS1 children. Today we played games including, Skittles, Snakes and Ladders and Guess Who using pictures of our friends. We also used metal detectors to looks for treasure and joined in a game of football with some very competitive teachers!

The Early Years and KS1 children have had a quiet but fun day today enjoying the outdoors and the sunshine. We have planted beans, been on minibeast hunts and of course painted beautiful rainbow pictures to make us smile #theAteam
