Reception have been finding out about the Queen. The children wrote invitations, painted union jack flags and made crowns then yesterday we had an afternoon tea party! Children at home made crowns too, looking forward to seeing pictures of their tea parties too @HPSDerbyshire

This week has seen the return of some of our Reception children. Having a 'Billy Goats Gruff theme' we have had super home and school learning. We have painted pictures, written facts, ordered the story, made bridges and also completed some of the @WhiteRoseMaths activities๐

Early Years and KS1 children had an โeggcellentโ day yesterday making their fantastic Easter bonnets. They did a great parade and finished the day with a little Easter egg hunt ๐ฃ๐ธ๐ฐ

Today we decided to start the day with an Andy's Wild Workout. Then we decorated our windows with rainbows. The children have enjoyed playing in the sunshine completing a cvc word treasure hunt and also a spot of gardening #outdoorlearning#fun
Another lovely day with EYFS and KS1 children. Today we played games including, Skittles, Snakes and Ladders and Guess Who using pictures of our friends. We also used metal detectors to looks for treasure and joined in a game of football with some very competitive teachers!
