News update.
We've suffered extensive damage to our greenhouses due to #StormCiaran. We'll be CLOSED for the foreseeable future while we make everything safe again. Thank you for all your support this year, we hope to see you soon.

Meet Mariano 👋🏼 one of our Senior Growers.

He has been at the foundation for 14 years. His favourite orchid is either the Cattleya (May Flower) or Paphiopedilum (Venus Orchid).

He enjoys sitting at his pottery wheel or enjoying a negroni 🥃 (maybe not together though!).

Meet Jack 👋🏼

Jack is our orchid Grower, who has been at the Foundation for 1 ½ years so far.

His favourite orchid is the Cymbidium. You can find Jack fishing down Bouley Bay. One time he even caught a 20lb Conger Eel 😱

It can grow up to 30 inches tall and produce long, narrow leaves.

[Loughborough Road SW9 history @RoadSw9]

Nelly Roberts, orchid artist died #OTD 1959. Lived all her life and painted 1000s orchids on Loughborough Road. We placed a plaque on her unmarked grave and her house last year.
