Lamont Roach is s a good fighter, but Saturday's close fight was due more to Davis' stale performance. Roach needed a late rally to get split decision in winning his title at lower weight class against Hector Garcia I announced that fight. And this Roach performance, while good, was not dynamic. It was more Davis not doing enough. It was mostly a slow paced fight with not much offense. I'm not making any grand pronouncements on Davis in the overall sense ( so don't yell at me as a Gervonta hater--I'm not one), I'm simply saying this was more about his lesser performance than it was about Roach breaking out was a star--though, again--Roach is a capable fighter.

#UnpopularOpinion It's so funny Larry Hazzard had Tank winning 5 of the first 6 rounds (as did 2 of the 3 OFFICIAL Judges) and NOBODY Complained or said it was wrong! Then that stupid Knee snafu happened and now it's a ROBBERY!!! You understand in a 12 round fight winning 5 of the first 6 Rounds means Tank would LITERALLY only need to win 1 more round 7-12 to have a DRAW? LMAOOOO Anything more than that would be a victory.
