Today, officers initiated a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation. During the contact with the occupants, the passenger was found to be in possession of a firearm and suspected narcotics. She was arrested and will be housed pending her court appearance.

Medics are being requested for the two inmates who apparently are suffering neck pain.

Out of hibernation to report on a deputy that crashed into something on the 5 southbound at Roxford in Sylmar. The deputy was transporting two inmates.
