If House Republican Medicaid and ACA cuts pass, and enhanced ACA premium tax credits aren't extended, the state with the biggest increase in the number of people uninsured: Florida.
This angle has gotten little coverage.
The CBO score of the Medicaid provisions (in a footnote) specifies that 1.3 million "dual eligibles" (i.e. seniors/PWDs who have Medicare and Medicaid) -- will lose Medicaid.
Why have both? To cover cost-sharing and/or long term care.
